These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of plumbing, heating, and gas services by DRMB Plumbing & Heating (“we”, “us”, “our”) to you (“the Customer”). By booking or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services
We provide plumbing, heating, gas safety, boiler installation, boiler repair, boiler servicing, bathroom installation, and related services across South East London and surrounding areas. All gas work is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers.
2. Quotes & Pricing
- All quotes are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days from the date issued, unless otherwise stated.
- Quotes are based on the information provided by the customer and may be subject to change following a physical survey or inspection.
- If additional work is discovered during a job, we will inform you and obtain your approval before proceeding.
- Emergency callout rates may apply outside standard working hours.
- All prices include VAT where applicable.
3. Bookings & Appointments
- Appointments are confirmed via phone, email, or WhatsApp.
- We aim to attend within the agreed time window. In the event of delays, we will notify you as soon as possible.
- Someone over the age of 18 must be present at the property during the service appointment.
4. Cancellation Policy
- You may cancel or reschedule an appointment with at least 24 hours’ notice at no charge.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee.
- If we need to cancel or reschedule, we will provide as much notice as possible.
5. Payment Terms
- For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work commences.
- The remaining balance is due on completion of the work, unless alternative terms have been agreed in writing.
- We accept payment by bank transfer, card, or cash.
- Invoices are due within 14 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed.
- We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue payments at 4% above the Bank of England base rate.
6. Guarantee & Warranty
- All workmanship carried out by DRMB Plumbing & Heating comes with a 12-month guarantee from the date of completion.
- This guarantee covers defects in our workmanship only and does not cover damage caused by misuse, wear and tear, third-party interference, or pre-existing issues.
- Manufacturer warranties on parts, boilers, and equipment are separate and subject to the manufacturer’s terms.

7. Gas Safety & Compliance
- All gas work is carried out by engineers registered with the Gas Safe Register.
- Gas Safety Certificates and other relevant documentation will be provided on completion of gas work as required by law.
- We comply with all current UK gas safety regulations and building standards.
8. Liability
- We carry full public liability insurance for all work carried out.
- Our liability for any loss or damage arising from our services is limited to the value of the work carried out, except where the law does not allow such limitation.
- We are not liable for any pre-existing defects or damage caused by third parties.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Customer Responsibilities
- You must provide safe and reasonable access to the work area.
- You must inform us of any relevant information about your property that may affect the work.
- You are responsible for obtaining any necessary planning permissions or approvals before work begins.
- You must ensure the work area is clear and accessible on the day of the appointment.
10. Complaints Procedure
We take pride in our work and aim for 100% customer satisfaction. If you are not happy:

- Investigation: We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days.
- Resolution: We will aim to resolve the issue within 14 working days.
- Escalation: If not satisfied, you may seek independent mediation or take the matter to court.
11. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, pandemics, supply chain disruptions, or government restrictions.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The Terms that apply to your booking are those in effect at the time the booking is made.
